Pastoral Care Team for the Sick and Homebound

Posted : Jan-31-2025

In this Jubilee Year of Pilgrims of Hope, the Parish Pastoral Council is excited to announce the formation of a new ministry at St. Patrick’s: the Pastoral Care Team to the Sick and Homebound. This ministry seeks to bring the hope and love of Christ through the Eucharist to those unable to attend Mass.

The ministry will officially begin after the commissioning of Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion during the Jubilee Mass at our church (see above for details).

To request Holy Communion for yourself or a loved one, please connect with the Ministry Coordinator, Jennifer Ide, through the parish office by emailing secretary@stpatrickstoronto.ca or calling 416- 598-3269. While this ministry serves parishioners within the boundaries of St. Patrick’s, we warmly encourage anyone residing outside our boundaries to connect with one of our priests or contact the parish office. They would be happy to help and make appropriate arrangements.

Let us walk together as pilgrims of hope, extending Christ’s presence to all in need.
