Music

Serving and worshipping through music...

The rich tradition of Roman Catholic liturgical music is loved by parishioners of St. Patrick’s Parish.

Gregorian Chant and other sacred music from ancient to modern are a keystone of our liturgical celebrations and the liturgical music mirrors the decrees of the Second Vatican Council. Dr. Robin Williams, a graduate of the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music, is the parish’s director of Divine Worship and also directs the Schola Cantorum, oversees the Guiding Choir, and is the parish organist.

The Schola Cantorum and the Guiding Choir are entirely volunteer ensembles and minister at the 11 o’clock Mass on Sunday. There is an extension of the Schola Cantorum at the 5 o’clock Mass on Sunday, which is conducted by Mark Huang.

If you are gifted or interested in music you may be called to ministry in music. Contact the parish office (416-598-3269) or visit the choir loft after any mass.
