Retirement of Maria Luxbacher

For almost 27 years, Maria Luxbacher has been a member of the staff here at St. Patrick Church Toronto and has been wholeheartedly devoted to the German community.

In the month of January, Maria made the decision to retire and to move to the City of Calgary, so that she can live close to where her son, Fr. John Luxbacher, L.C., ministers in a parish.

Maria will be with us until Easter Sunday. We, as a parish, have been incredibly blessed with Maria’s faith-filled presence and her generous dedication to the entire parish all these years.

Let us pray for Maria as she prepares to move and also express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude for all she has done for us and for all the many lives she has touched with her kindness. Come and join us on Sunday, March 3rd at The Coffee hour following the 11:00am mass to celebrate in thanksgiving and wish Maria farewell.
