Horizons of Hope Program: Learn more about end-of-life care from a Catholic perspective

The Parish Pastoral Council at St. Patrick’s Church invites you to participate in learning sessions on Horizons of Hope: A Toolkit for Catholic Parishes on Palliative Care. Our faith in Jesus Christ has much to teach us about living well until the end of life. The program will help parishioners, caregivers, and family members facing a terminal illness to learn more about palliative care.

Throughout four modules, the learning and discussion sessions address themes such as understanding the dying process, discernment and decision-making at the end of life, accompaniment and the importance of building compassionate communities.

To register, a Parish Pastoral Council member will be available for in-person sign-ups after each of the Masses on October 25th/26th and November 1st/2nd, at the back of the church.

Dates / time for workshop:
• Module 1: Sunday November 9th 1pm-3pm
• Module 2: Sunday November 16th 1pm-3pm
• Module 3: Sunday November 23rd 1pm-3pm
• Module 4: Sunday November 30th 1pm-3pm
