“To celebrate Mary is to celebrate the closeness and tenderness of God who is with His people, who does not leave us alone, who has given us a Mother who cares for us and accompanies us.” Pope Francis, 2023
DevotionsTV in Honour of Our Mother of Perpetual Help (DTV) is a half-hour daytime program on Vision TV, broadcasting continuously every week since 1995.

Devotion to Mary under the title of Our Mother of Perpetual Help (OMPH) is a world-wide Redemptorist ministry mandated by Pope Pius IX in 1866.
Known as The Global Madonna, her iconic image can be found everywhere in the world where there are Catholics, in their homes, schools, and parishes.
The Redemptorists (formally, the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer) was founded in 1732 by Italian lawyer St. Alphonsus Ligouri; today 5,300 Redemptorists priests and brothers serve in 78 countries
As early as 1840, the Redemptorists began their mission in Canada, eventually taking responsibility in 1881 for St. Patrick’s OMPH Shrine Parish on McCaul Street, Toronto. Since then, the parish has offered Wednesday OMPH Devotions Mass, attracting thousands every week. The Wednesday Devotions are a feature of parishes across Canada, many named for OMPH.
DTV on VisionTV continues the tradition of the Wednesday Devotions, urging viewers to attend in-person services while offering an alternative for those unable.
