Good Shepherd Ministries have begun their Thanksgiving Food Drive in order to help provide meals for homeless and at-risk individuals. Every day they serve 1,100 meals, welcoming each
person with kindness, dignity, and respect.
The following are the most needed items:
- tuna and canned meat; canned tomatoes, corn & vegetables
- coffee & tea bags
- soup & stews
- condiments (e.g. soy sauce, barbecue sauce, ketchup,mayonnaise, mustard)
- jams and beans & chickpeas
- pasta sauce
- sugar, salt, pepper and spices
- salad dressings
- cooking oil
- pancake mix
- bagged rice
- mini-sized juice boxes
- granola bars & packaged snacks
**They will only accept non-perishable food in its original, unused condition and not expired.
Please place items in the baskets provided as you enter the church. The food drive will end on Thanksgiving Day – Monday, October 12. Your generous donations are very much appreciated.
