Lenten Food Drive (until April 2nd)

已發佈 : Feb-23-2026

Last year, during the Jubilee Year, our Lenten initiative to collect non-perishable food items for the Fort York Food Bank received a wonderful response from our faith community here at St. Patrick’s.

Because the need in our city continues to be so great, we will once again be holding this food collection throughout Lent. We invite you to bring non-perishable food items such as canned vegetables and fruits, rice, pasta, cereal, canned proteins (tuna, beans, salmon), peanut butter, and healthy snacks, and place them in the baskets provided as you enter the church.

Donations can be placed in the designated bins at the back of the church from anytime during Lent up until Holy Thursday (April 2nd).

This year, however, we will not be accepting monetary donations for this initiative. If you wish to make a financial contribution, we would be grateful if you would consider donating instead to St. Patrick’s Out of the Cold program, which also provides nutritious meals each week for those in need. Thank you for your generosity and for continuing to care for our brothers and sisters in need.
