Update and Thank you!: St. Patrick's Fundraising Campaign for HVAC (Make-up Air Unit)

Here's a wonderful update on our HVAC Fundraising Campaign!

On the first weekend of July, a campaign was launched to raise funds for a new “Make-Up Air Unit”, an important part of the ventilation system for the parish hall. Last week a donation was received for the full amount of $50,000! This was a wonderful surprise, and we are full of gratitude to the donor and certainly to all others who have contributed. The fund-raising campaign is now over, as we have the amount that is needed. There will, no doubt, be other unforeseen expenditures associated with the project. Monies already given will be directed toward those expenses.

(See update above) St. Patrick's is raising to raise $50,000 asap for the purchase and installation of a new Make-Up Air Unit to replace an existing one that has been defunct for several years. This unit will be situated between the church and the new condo development which is presently under construction. This ventilation equipment is required to bring fresh air into the parish hall because of the commercial gas stove and exhaust system which are frequently used.

The new commercial "Make-up Air Unit" is scheduled to be delivered and installed during the month of July, 2023.

The Archdiocese of Toronto has agreed to waive the 15% diocesan tax on offerings received for this project from now until December 31, 2023, or until our goal has been reached.
