Out of the Cold Program Thanks You

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this years Out of the Cold program. Your generous donations and prayerful commitment helped to make this year’s program a great success!

For twenty weeks, dedicated Out of the Cold volunteers navigated steep challenges to prepare delicious meals, wrap food, wash mountains of pots and pans, and deliver 610 dinners every week to the Good Shepherd Ministry and St. Felix Centre.

Putting into numbers, over 12,000 portions of stew, over 12,000 portions of meat, over 2,200 portions of sides and over 2,000 portions of dessert were created by volunteer cooking teams in our parish hall kitchen to feed hungry guests. The food was well received and enjoyed by the guests at both sites. Good Shepherd ministry and St. Felix Centre expressed their appreciation from staff, but more importantly, by their hungry guests.

A big THANK YOU goes out to all the volunteers that helped. Behind every successfully organized event there is an extraordinary volunteer team. Thank you all for a job well done!
