Congratulations Fr. Michael and Fr. Santo!

New Appointment as Bishop of Pembroke, ON

On Tuesday, June 11th, His Holiness, Pope Francis appointed our own, Fr. Michael Brehl, C.Ss.R., as the new Bishop of the Diocese of Pembroke. Most recently, Fr. Brehl has been serving as the Provincial Superior of the Canadian Redemptorist Province. He will be ordained Bishop on August 15th, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in Pembroke, Ontario. We wish Fr. Brehl our best wishes and blessings as he prepares for this new appointment, serving the people of God in the episcopacy!

New Provincial Superior for the Canadian Redemptorists

Upon Fr. Brehl’s appointment as bishop, Fr. Santo Arrigo, C.Ss.R., our former pastor and who has been serving with Fr. Brehl as the Vicar Provincial for the Province of Canada, is now the new Provincial Superior. Congratulations and blessings upon Fr. Santo as he begins this new ministry!
