Horizons of Hope is a program developed by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops to help us make informed decisions about end-of-life issues. In response to the increasing promotion of Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) and recent efforts to broaden its eligibility, the Archdiocese has requested all parishes to implement this program. As Catholics, it is vital for us to understand the Gospel of Life and the Church’s teachings on this important topic, so we can better support our loved ones and those in our faith community. The program is free and includes 4 workshops, each 2 hours long. Each workshop will take place in the church on each Sunday in November, shortly following the 11am Mass. Refreshments will be served.
To register, a Parish Pastoral Council member will be available for in-person sign-ups after each of the Masses on October 19th/20th and October 26th/27th.
Please take the time to consider participating in this program.
